ESPECTRO: EMANACIONES is a formulation practice and an olfactory archive. We follow a scent from the matter that releases it to the memory it leaves behind.
A scent does not stay inside the matter that produces it. It is released, it disperses, it passes through a body and changes state.
The practice
Territory, not pyramid.
Every composition is first imagined as a place: atmosphere, surface, body, temperature and residue.
Anomaly before familiarity.
A composition can be beautiful and, at the same time, raise a question: where did this come from?
Some notes are not matter.
Not every note comes from a flask. Some are places, memories or states of being: the minute after rain, a cold signal, a skin with no edge. A list of ingredients would only shrink what a scent can make you perceive.
The formula is not the perfume
Matter, dose, air, time, body and context: that is where an apparition happens.
